Les Combes lies deep in the French Limousin, surrounded by forests, meadows and rolling hills. Neighbours? They exist, but so far away that they look more like dots on the horizon than actual people. No noise, no rush, only the rhythm of the seasons.
We lovingly transformed one old building into three lodges. Each with its own character, all with the same view: silence, space and air.
Around the lodges lie 8 hectares of private land, free to roam, walk or simply flop down in the grass. Watch where you lie down though, sometimes a cow has just decided to leave its opinion right there. And at night? A sky opens up like you'll never see in the city: thousands of stars, clear and close. The air here is so pure that the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye.

One main house, one outbuilding, 8 hectares all around.
The estate consists of one main building and one outbuilding, set in the middle of 8 hectares of private land. All around, nothing but grass meadows, cows or cornfields, depending on the season and the farmer's rhythm.
The outbuilding houses the three lodges, each with its own private terrace. Scattered across the grounds are several barns for our machines, quads, vespas, bikes, firewood and the outdoor bar, everything that makes a stay here complete.
Two private lanes lead up to the house, each with ample parking at the back. The cars stay out of sight, so from your terrace you see only what you came for: grass, sky and silence.

The Limousin cattle are world-renowned for their flavourful, tender meat. In every village you'll find a butcher proud to serve it.
Lake Vassivière, countless streams and rivers, perfect for swimming, kayaking or just a picnic by the water.
Aubusson (tapestries), Felletin, Crocq, picturesque places fifteen minutes' drive away, with markets and good food.

No fixed program, no schedule. Sleep in, walk through the woods, read a book by the fire, or sink into the jacuzzi with a glass of wine while the sun disappears behind the hills.
Drag a mattress outside and sleep under the stars. Splash in the river, build a fire, roast marshmallows, plan a picnic in the middle of a field, or do absolutely nothing. Especially that last one, it's actually recommended.
